Goal

Provide concise project UX policy and reusable guidance so user-facing interfaces are usable and important journeys measurable.

Approach

Add a short linked UX section to root AGENTS.md. Create independent skills/ux-design/SKILL.md and skills/ux-observability/SKILL.md with actionable rules and complementary UX Review checklists. Primary module: skills; root policy and delivery documentation are supporting scope.

Acceptance criteria

  • Root UX policy is concise and links both skills.
  • Design guidance covers usability, states, feedback, responsiveness, accessibility, performance and trust.
  • Observability guidance covers semantic journeys, outcome metrics, correlation, privacy and purposeful telemetry.
  • Review checklists cover the requested usability and observability criteria.
  • Skills are vendor/framework independent, respect product conventions, and are reviewed for duplication, contradictions and vague rules.
  • Skill validators and documentation checks pass; contribution is committed, pushed and linked to a PR.

Notes

Documentation-only scope; no UI or analytics instrumentation changes. Keep the explicitly requested skills/ paths and use root links for discovery. No runtime or security scans required for this documentation change.

Delivery

Committed and pushed to skills-10; PR #11 targets main and remains unmerged. Scope, validation and limitations are recorded in docs/implementation.md. Both skill validators passed in a temporary PyYAML environment after the system Python lacked that dependency. Root links, scaffold checks and git diff --check passed. Manual review covered request coverage, duplication, contradictions and actionable wording. Documentation-only: no runtime tests or security scans run; no UI behavior or telemetry changed.
